inside the movie, notorious murderer Riddick is betrayed and left for lifeless with a desolate World and employs his instincts to survive. He finally teams up with mercenaries arriving to seize him to flee from a bigger danger. Leah Pickett in the Chicago Reader calls the movie "only a bit fewer dumb and nonsensical as opposed to preceding movies"
